Jessica joined NEW Law in July 2014 working primarily as part of the Workers Compensation Team in our Newcastle Office
  
Jessica grew up on the Central Coast and moved to Canberra in 2003 to study a combined Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Law at the University of Canberra. While at University, Jessica lived on campus for three years and was a member of the Residential Support Staff as the Resident Events Coordinator. During her final years at University, Jessica worked as a Paralegal in the area of property, wills and probate.
  
After completing her studies at The University of Canberra, Jessica worked for 12 months as a Senior Paralegal in the Family Law Division at Legal Aid (ACT) before travelling through Asia, Europe, America and Africa. She then moved to the UK where she worked in Notting Hill as a Paralegal for 12 months at a private firm specialising in Intellectual Property.  After returning to Australia, Jessica spent 12 months with the Central Coast Community Legal Centre where she carried out her practical legal training. During this time Jessica also completed a Diploma in Counselling and Psychology through the International Career Institute. 
  
Jessica completed her Diploma of Legal Practice with the College of Law and was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in October 2012, and more recently in the High Court of Australia.  Prior to joining NEW Law, Jessica spent her first two years post admission practising in a private firm specialising in personal injury compensation claims and also has experience practising in the areas of Family Law, Wills & Probate and Crime.
